No need to check in with security here. They keep tabs to know who is there during patrols. You can stay 3 nights, but then you must leave for 10 days. Great for our 1 night!

Staff were very friendly. Parking lot is lit well and there are cameras. Security walks through the parking lot several times a night.

The parking lot is great for kids to ride bike.

This is a paved parking lot at a middle of the road casino on the 101, a few minutes before the Oregon border. The buildings and grounds are nice and tidy, but this isn’t a 5-star resort. The RV lot is well-marked, level, and monitored by security. There were plenty of spots available when we arrived at 8pm, and had a mix of pull through and regular parking spots. All the other vehicles there were high end (brand new Sprinters and travel trailers). You don’t need to check in with security, but it sounds like they’ll ask you to leave if you’re here more then 3 days. There was almost no noise during the night due to the RV lot being behind the main parking lot. It wasn’t as quiet as being in the woods by yourself but it was pretty close to it!
The casino is small, the section closest to the RV lot is the smoking section. The restaurant was take-out only due to Covid and had typical West Coast prices for typical American dishes. They required masks inside the casino and took our temperatures at the door.

It seems that campers and car sleepers can use the viewpoints and turnouts on 101 so staying at this casinos parking lot isn't really necessary. There are no hookups here, just a parking lot. Although the casino owns the gas station next door and has a hose to fill water behind the building. GAS STATION PRICES ARE OVER $1 LESS PER GALLON THAN AVERAGE FOR THE AREA- WAIT TO FILLUP HERE

Mostly pretty darn quiet (one guy was parked with his boat for awhile- he was loud, but left).
The casino was smoke free when we were there (I can’t handle smoke) so we had dinner/drink. Do not gamble so no idea on the rest.
Security just said to ‘check in’ (didn’t have to give any info) and no issues.

This was a convenient location for visiting Crescent City and the southern Oregon coast, but I would not recommend it because of all the traffic and noise in the lot. I was not comfortable with the local people, who from all their noise and door-slamming had probably been drinking, backing out of their parking spots towards my trailer late at night, and with all the traffic passing through the lot, often at speed just 10 ft from the trailer. On top of that, dump trucks used the lot to drop off and pick up trailers, doing a 180 around my trailer as they came in.
Verizon 4G was 2 bars, -110 dB, 9 Mbps down and 2 up.
With stays at the casinos at Loleta, Blue Lake, Trinidad and here, I got a total of 11 nights along the northern California coast for only $31
