If you want a big campground with seclusion, maybe you shouldn't look at the beach for that. If you're expecting nice grassy areas, more space, then look elsewhere. This was perfect for us with a 36' class A motorhome with slides on both sides.
Liked it so much were coming back later this week.
Checking in was a breeze. Did it online after hours on a Sunday.
The waves sounded great and the dog could run on the beach.
Sunset was stellar.
You can even preorder firewood!!!!!!
For such a popular part of the coast we were more than pleased with our experience here. The price was far reasonable and would definitely come back.

Stayed here in November mid-week and the park was maybe 10% full. There were several empty spaces between me and the few occupied sites. Level gravel pads with convenient well-maintained hookups. Ingress/egress was one way double lane and paved. I can certainly see how this area would be a super tight mad house during the peak summer season but off-season was perfect. During the day cars drove thru and parked to observe the ocean and folks ate their lunches and walked around. At night it was pretty quiet and the ocean crashing will lull you to sleep. Check in was done electronically at a kiosk. My favorite part of this location was the location and the fact it was nearly empty when I was here. No negatives to report but again it was the off-season and pretty dead. The Bell & Whistle Coffee House in the harbor village was a real treat.

They must’ve closed the gate for a day to take pictures because the public lot is PACKED full of people trying to cut around all the RVs and fight for an open parking spot. Tried to go out on the beach but there were homeless camps scattered everywhere. Thankfully, we just stayed here one night passing through on our way to the redwoods, because we would have found another campground if it had been any longer.

On the beach ish. Great view but Day use traffic. Rocks on other side of Day use parking but needs it for weather. Little grass on the side for Fido. The beachfront bistro is to die for! Right across the little street and super delicious. Go!

We stayed at the Riverview RV Park run by Port of Brookings Harbor for three days in August 2020. This RV park is all about it’s riverfront and oceanfront location. Great for exploring Brookings and the surrounding state parks and beaches. Also, the RV Park staff we met was great.
That said, we will not be returning. The park infrastructure is rough and sad to say the least. The park is adjacent to an ocean front public parking area and, like California, the beach is public. Lots of traffic and local partiers on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. Cars and pickup trucks in and out of the dry camping area — that’s supposed to be for paid RVers — all day and evening at will. A noisy, uncomfortable and insecure place to be. No real rules enforcement. And the amount of trash we saw in and adjacent to the RV area was depressing. A walk south along the beautiful ocean front revealed a massive homeless camp with trash and debris everywhere. And mobile homeless are prowling around the edges of the park, seeking a safe parking location day and night.
All that said, this place has enormous potential. Vigorous rules enforcement, good leadership, a cadre of volunteers to help deal with trash and weeds, and basic infrastructure investment could turn this place into one of the nicest RV Parks in Oregon.

We don't usually stay in RV parks, but we had some spring cleaning to do and so we thought what better place than by the beach.
The sites are close to each other (people sitting in the picnic benches were right outside your window) and you are not necessarily right on the beach or close, but you do have views and can hear the waves. The pull thru spots are ocean view with public parking right in front. It gets busy but towards the evening it quiets down. You can still sit in front of your spot and people watch and see the ocean. You can have fires on the beach and it's a pleasant walk along most of it. some parts are pretty rocky instead of sandy.
The wifi here is hit or miss and some of the areas of the park are closed. It is closely monitored and checked on by the employees which is nice. You can ask for a fire pit and wood. Only thing that sucked about that was our RV smelled of firewood after and we didn't even have a fire!
Some of the pull thru spots are really long and others were much shorter. We would have been able to have our old fifthwheel, our truck and room to sit in one of the longer ones. The back in spots are shorter. I actually preferred the sites in the 60s as it wasn't as busy on that end. The entrance, by the 90s is much busier.
Bathrooms were closed as of 6/24/20 but they did have porta pottys and had washing stations. You could also walk to the harbor and see the boats, get food from a number of places and do some souvenier shopping.
We would stay here again if we wanted to stay in an RV park.

This was a nice spot, right by the beach. We had full hookup. The day was really foggy so we couldn’t see our very far. There are some really pretty waves on the beach. They didn’t have laundry services but drove up the road to a nearby laundry mat.
