"Current logging project has changed landscape"

The road coming into the camp spot is dirt, rocky, and very narrow. Two rigs would not be able to fit side by side so if someone's coming from the other direction, somebody will need to back up. On one side is the mountain and on the other side is... Read more

"Typical casino free stay"

This worked for one night. No need to check in, you can just go stay for 1 night for free. The area is along the fence line. There were several semi's and rvers on a Monday night. The fence line butts against a small sheep herd which is fun,... Read more

"Quiet place to stay for a few days"

We stayed for 3 days as we explored the redwood forest. I was wary because done reviews said the casino was loud. I think they must have arrived when there were large events or something because it was so quiet! There were always other rvs in the... Read more

"Beautiful, plenty of solar, starlink, room for tents and rvs"

We arrived the Saturday before memorial day. It was getting full but there was still room for others. Campers were respectful and the space was clean... Except the day we left we found that some previous tenters didn't bury their waste. Yuck!... Read more

"We drove the loop, but did not stay"

We require solar and starlink for work. There was no chance of that here so we didn't stay. It did seem beautiful, and there were picnic tables at each site, and a shared outhouse. No water that we could see. Sites seem fairly private.

"Just what my soul needed!"

You need a permit November through April. We stayed in the parking lot where there was no snow, bathrooms, and fire pits. It is so secluded and beautiful there! It's close to the South entrance of Crater Lake. Very few other people ever came, and... Read more

"Beautiful and free"

You need a permit November through April. Other than that, it's just a parking lot. There are several other rvers here, and there is a bit of noice from the road nearby. Gorgeous view of the mountain!

"It's free, it's open, it's dusty"

There are tons of spots, but it fills up sooo fast! It's minutes away from the Grand Canyon, which makes it very convenient if you can find a place.

"First night free"

This town is pretty ghetto, not gonna lie. We had a homeless person knock on our trailer door asking for a knife, the whole area smells awful, there are trains going by at all hours of the night... I didn't feel in danger at all but it was not a... Read more

"Easily accessible"

First off, it did cost $5 to use. It isn't actually managed by Camping world, but by the campground next door, which is where you pay. Also, the dump isn't at the place you navigate to, instead of turning right, you follow the road up to the round... Read more
