There is no cell service and no TV reception here, but we were able to go to the front gate and connect to the Wi-Fi in the booth. There is a dump station! Coin operated showers. The water came out scalding hot. There was an out of order sign nearby, and I think our shower was the one out of order and someone moved the sign. We had water and electric at the site. We enjoyed the town of Gorham.

Stayed at site 18 (no hookups) the first week of October. Good location to day trip the best of NH leaf peeping. Very clean facilities and super helpful staff.

We chose a site that was so uneven that we had our tongue jack on the ground in order to get level back to front. Luckily side to side was pretty level.
In looking at other sides, we just happened to choose one that wasn’t well suited for our 30 foot trailer. there were many sides that would’ve been really good for us. This one just wasn’t it. It was, however, a large site, very little shade, but we could put up our screen house and still have plenty of room.
We happened to hit three nights stay where temperatures were well above average and the mosquito activity was very high. Which meant we didn’t do as much in the area outdoors as we might have. That isn’t the campgrounds problem, just bad timing. We would come back here and stay again. Just be a little more careful about the site we chose.

Used this site as a base to explore the many waterfalls and notches along the Kancamagus Hwy. I was attracted to this camp because it had an open field with lots of sky, which is good for solar and Starlink. Dumpsite available and good potable water. The place was packed over Labor Day weekend, then almost completely emptied. Showers are $2.50 with hot water and clean facilities. Bathrooms are cleaned daily. Price is $27 w/o electricity and $40 with power and water. Of course, senior pass gives you 50% discount.
No cell service. Starlink solves this problem. There is a sign for Dolly Copp picnic area with a confusing sign to campground. Do not turn here, continue another mile to the 2nd sign/turnoff. This takes you to the campground.
I would certainly camp here again.

There were only two issues detracted from the campground. The Verizon cell service is reported by others seems to have completely disappeared. We got no signal at all with both an iPhone 13 and an older iPhone 6. Occasionally, one bar would appear momentarily, but never enough to make or receive a call or text. We had to drive a few miles to the nearby ski resort to get a signal.
The other issue was highway noise. The campground was very quiet on the part of the campers; however, there is somehighway noise that goes on into the night. It's not a big deal, but it led to 4 stars instead of 5.
