Overall Rating
We checked out Wild River Campground one day, planning to return the next. Only 12 sites, including host and only two of the site will accommodate a (small) travel trailer. Both sites were available so we returned the next day, scored site two as tenters had set up on site 3 Another TT came in right after us, but no room at the inn. (Tenters should have been on a tent site IMHO.)
The hosts were friendly and the vault toilet houses clean. We walked to and down in the river bed. At dusk, we drove about 4 miles to the marsh and delighted in watching two moose for 21 minutes.
We LOVED the quiet of this campground and look forward to returning!
