It is a long drive into the campground about 25 minutes. Also it has steep grades with no guard rails. Other then that it is a beautiful place to camp. Take jugs of water when you hike here. We were there 4,5,6 Oct. 2018 and it was still very warm during the day. The nights were wonderful. We were in site 53 which is the best site in ... more

Another dry camping awesome experience. The drive back to the campground can be daunting at moments (like the entrance into the park up the great wall), but the views are incredible! Let me get the negatives out of the way: Park host (not friendly), too many Go RVing rentals (just not a fan, sorry) and no campfires. Upon entering th... more

We stayed 4 nights from June 10 - June 14 and enjoyed every minute of our time. There is several trails to arches from the campground and you are only a short drive or bike ride to the parking areas of others. I would highly recommend getting out early to enjoy the arches before the crowds and the heat. Even though it was early June... more

The campground has been repaved this past year. Some sites are back in, a few are pull through away from the road, and other pull overs are right on the road. We had a pull through that had a bit of vegetation that separated us from the road. We were at the height of land, which means you can have lots of wind, which is a plus and a... more

We’ve been coming to Moab for over 25 years but usually stay at Dead Horse for cooler temps and good cell service. Thanks to wandering labs, we were able to score this spot for sunday they tuesday. I didn’t think we’d be getting cell service, so was planning to take the day off, but might work now for a few hours since it’s going to be... more

This is one of the prettiest campgrounds I have ever stayed at. Beautiful red rock formations, trails just outside your tent. It is always full and very crowded but the sites are well separated and you get some privacy. I switched sites 4 times in 5 days to check out different views. The first night I arrived they were full but the hos... more

I've stayed at Devil's Garden Campground several times, in various sites. It's absolutely stunning and most sites offer a fair amount of privacy. The campground is located far from the main highway, which is a plus in my opinion. The camp hosts and rangers do a great job, as the place was always well-maintained and peaceful. Arches is such a fabulous NP! This is a really cool campground right in the red rocks. Great for exploring with kids. We noted sites 18, 20, and 21 as being the best views. Oddly, our site (#4) was on the road, not a pull in, so we couldn't put our slide out. I booked online with my annual pass for a discount, then had a bill for an... more

Booked way ahead for a June spot. Unfortunately we arrived during a heat wave. But we toughed it out and hiked in the early morning and a little at dusk.
