Our 2nd visit here. Site was extremely level, good power & water. The campground is immaculately clean. The staff are extremely friendly. Big rig friendly & roads are easy to maneuver. Walking distance to town and so close to Yellowstone's west entrance. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

We ended up having to split our stay into 2 - the first day was a site with electric hookups. The next 3 days were at a site that had no hookups. If you are using more than one site for your stay, you do have to be aware that they require you to checkout at 11am and you won't be able to check in until 1pm. It wasn't an issue for us since we just took our truck & camper into the park.
The park itself was well-maintained, the check-in was quick and easy and we were grateful to be able to use their laundry facility (which was also clean and working!). They have a small store at the main office where you check in for small items as well which was nice to have.
You are walking distance from the main town which was great on those days you get back late and don't want to cook!
The only issue we had is that the no hookup site was not really meant for a 25' truck camper. We originally wanted to "unturtle" or take the camper off and only drive the truck into the park. The site we ended up with says it can handle campers 25' and less but if we took the camper off, our nose would have been in the street! We made due by just leaving the camper on (which allows up to back up more) and then took the diesel hit by hauling it around for several days. We also had to maneuver around the larger trees in the area. Probably not a big deal for most folks beyond us tall truck campers.
So, if you have a truck camper and want to remove it during your stay, you'll have to get an electric or full hook-up site. We paid $90 for the electric site, and $60 for the no hookup site.
Even with this caveat, we'd be happy to stay at this park again.

Convenient to commercial activities in town. Definitely consider if looking for a nice place with any rig or needing to park a big rig. Very big rig friendly. Numerous toy haulers, super C’s, large class A diesel pushers. When we come back to Yellowstone we will stay again. It is costly, but this is a great place minutes from the park entrance. You do feel like you’re getting something for your money.

We stayed here for 2 weeks mid-August to Sept. 1st. We loved how spacious the sites were (we were in 243), quiet the park was, and the fact that we could walk to the "downtown". It was easy to stay here and the clean park made it even easier. Especially the bathrooms, laundry, and showers which we use. Checking in was easy and the staff was knowledgeable. They have a cute store with anything you can think of. We were able to get mail and packages delivered here too. Paved streets with gravel sites. Sites have a picnic table and very small patio area. Site 243 is a pull-through and not far from the garbage and showers/ laundry which for us is convenient and appreciated. We disconnected our tow vehicle and had plenty of space behind our rig to park it. The site was very long so easily accommodated our 40' motorhome and 20' car. The interior roads were easy to navigate and very wide in our area which looked to be a newer part of the park. There was plenty of space between each site. We had full hook-ups and had no problems with connecting everything. There were trees which provided some shade. We didn't have any problems with the wi-fi, however, we also use a pepwave router so that may be why internet was no problem. Since we both work full time from our motorhome it's a must that we have internet. We highly recommend this campground.

Let me start by saying I would never write a bad review about anyone as a business owner I know what reviews mean. That Said, I made reservations for July of 2018 and I had to cancel because my wifes mother past away and we just couldn't make it. They went and charged me a Cancellation fee even though i told them why we needed to cancel I asked if I could send proof but even that this RV park is Full I mean Full all the time they would not lose any money but I understand i cancelled within the month so be it. Well here comes 2020 I made reservation for September of 2020. I let that bad experience go from 2018 and reserved again then Corona happens at the time I called to cancel for September all Yellowstone stores were closed but the parks was not. It didn't matter my reservation was for September people have to rearrange their schedules I'm not even sure about my Job and what does Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park do when I called to cancel my September reservation charge me a cancellation fee like they aren't going to fill the spot if the park is open SHAME ON YOU it's not about the money it's never about the money it's the principle UNAmerican. I felt compelled to write this and let you know what kind of horrible people your are doing business with. Go and Enjoy Yellowstone but please boycott Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park. This is just my opinion!

“Charged Deposit and then told no sites available - no refund of deposit”
noted 9/2/2021
February 7th I made a reservation on the online system for a week stay at the Yellowstone Grizzly RV park. In September 2021
The software system online did not work properly and gave an error saying that it didn't work.
Two weeks later I sent an email saying that I wanted to make a reservation for a week stay at the end of September same dates as the first request and I was told they were full. And there was no availability for that week.
However, it turns out the original reservation went through I did not get a confirmation but they did bill my credit card which I didn't see until today
So after making other arrangements for a different park they called me and told me that I was late and therefore they were not refunding $112 nightly fee
I drove to the location and spoke to the supervisor Terry and the manager Darren only to be told that the policy was if you don't cancel your reservation 24 hours ahead of the arrival you pay the full price.
I asked if there was any flexibility of any kind
The answer was no
