We also ate at a very good restaurant called The Sleepy Coyote. The sites are nice and shady. There’s places for tents and another place for horses to stay. We had plenty of room for our camper van and tow vehicle. Definitely will stop here in Ten Sleep again!

Privately owned by a very friendly, helpful couple (Shawn and Sherry Seymour). Although this is a return visit for us, the ownership has changed; the new owners are equally as nice as the former owners though. Note that there is a 4% surcharge if using a credit card. There are 52 FHU pull through sites (30 or 50 amp) with plenty of shade trees, several cabins, 4 bunk houses and a grassy tent site area with shade. They also have a horse hotel facility for boarding horses for travelers. There are two bathhouses and a laundry – all are very clean and well kept. One unusual note: the pull through sites are in several very long rows so one rig is placed in front of another. There is plenty of space to pull past other rigs to set up. There are irrigated areas of grass between the long rows, but is an unusual set up. Every site has a picnic table. Shawn will lead each incoming rig to the proper site. We are in row 5F this time. There is no OTA TV reception in Ten Sleep, but our portable Dish works well. The park’s free WiFi works almost all the time. Both ATT and Verizon cell service work well. Mosquito spraying is done, just in case. Ten Sleep is located at the base of a beautiful canyon and is a very small town - the campground is 2 blocks from the local saloon/restaurant, ice cream store, convenience store, library, gas station, senior center, post office, local museum etc. The saloon has great pizza and ribeye steaks on weekends, burgers etc. all week long. There is a craft brewery about a mile down the road. We love Ten Sleep but it is a quiet, little town, so if you want lots of action close by, it might not be for you. We use it as a base for exploring the Big Horn Basin and the Big Horn Mts. The next larger town is about 25 miles west. This is our 8th time to visit Ten Sleep and we will return!

It was a bit rustic and only had curtains for doors in toilets and showers but the cleanliness made up for it. The older gentleman who was doing leather work was kind to our daughter who was learning leatherwork herself. The camp is horse friendly and had stables for horses. Evidently there are really good horse trails nearby as well. Had good WiFi too.

Within two minutes of getting to our site, and asking about how we were going to hook up we were told “this is your site, we got your f**cking money so take it or leave”. Then to make his point the owner stuck his face into mine and said “if you want to start something, I’ll finish it” he then stormed off. We left immediately.
This place is first and foremost a way station for transporting horses, many horses. That means big trucks hauling many horses. They put an occasional RV in the middle of all of the horse trailers.
As other reviews have said the hookups are very odd. Where we were placed was a one way dirt road, we were the first spot. Utilities were on the wrong side, the sewer was a hole in the middle of the road. Our sewer connection was under our rig. We could not put out our slides on either side without hitting a tree or being in the road. You cannot get to or leave your site once the horse trailers arrived.
We were charged $49. Per night and planned to stay 4 nights. There is no way there was any confusion about our slides or size. Never in my life have I been threatened with violence by anyone. These are bad people. We were truly worried for our safety and didn’t for one second think about staying. I would definitely avoid this place. If we could give this place zero stars we would.

The campground is quiet, clean, and well shaded. The place doubles as a horse hotel, so there's quite a bit of horse trailer traffic, but it didn't bother me at all.
The way they arrange the sites is a bit unorthodox, which means you often can't put out an awning to cover the picnic tables.
Water pressure is is good (at least at the front of the campground), and the water tasted fine.
Wireless Service ---
Cell service is passable. T-mobile data is unavialable; Verizon, and AT&T both have decent coverage. Campground Wifi was functional, albeit slow at times.
Service with 6dBi gain, omnidirectional antenna:
T-mobile
Was not useful for data.
Verizon
1.5-2Mbps down
1.5-2Mbps up
Note: Verizon seems to throttle at 2Mbps here
AT&T
4Mbps down
3Mbps up

We were here early-mid August 2018. The park is very shady with plenty of green grass and each site has it’s own picnic table. The trailers are arranged in parallel fashion, our water and power hookups were on the curb/exit side of the coach with the sewer hookup on the street/driver’s side. We were able to park the TV behind the coach. We did not use the showers or restrooms, but did use the clean laundry facility. Six washers and dryers, a utility sink, and an area to fold clothes. We walked our dog along a gravel road between the fairgrounds and the park and were eventually able to take him to the nearby football field for an of-leash run. The owners are very nice and let us know the park would be under new management in 2019. The town of Ten Sleep is small but has basic amenities such as gas, propane, the Saloon, and a couple of other eateries. Dirty Annies has a small coffee bar, camping supplies, organic produce, milk, and meat, t-shirts, jewelry, plus lots of other things. It’s small but powerful! Get local brew from the Ten Sleep Brewery.

This is a great place for a stay just on the West side of the Big Horn moutains on US Highway 16 at about 4300' elevation. At first we were confused by the arrangement of the campers, they are long roads that you "parallel" park along, but NOT REALLY! The owner will guide you into an appropriate spot straiight on, just think of these really big pull-thrus. We were there SUN-WED so we were given a spot that we could easily get out of when we needed on WED morning. The bathrooms and showers are small but everything was very clean. The tables at the sites were clean, the utilities worked well, the roads are well maintained and the owner very nice.
Verizon was the best network here and was good for streaming. It would not have been a good network for trying to connect VPN to the office. 4G LTE: 9Mbps down, 0.4Mps up, 93ms ping.
AT&T was 4G only, no LTE.
