Got one of the first come sites on a Monday. They have quite a few, 10,11,12,17,22,29. Kathy the host is great. Great walk at the end of the CG along the river. Nice lake Meadowlark just up the road. People were catching lots of fish there. You can walk around the whole lake, swim, fish, kayak, paddle board.
The road was being worked on but almost completed. Biking along the wide bike lane was heaven. You could go from Ten Sleep all the way to Buffalo if you wanted.
Did a backpack to Lake Solitude and took a few hikes back route 27 which runs right aside the CG.
Buffalo had a great super market.
Watching the climbers was fun and taking the alternate dirt road down to Ten Sleep was pretty. We visited the fish hatchery.
We ate at the Ten Sleep Saloon which was decent, had some great beer at happy hour.
No cell service.

Great dry camping campground in the Big Horn Mountains. Sites are level, good selection for 5th wheels, travel trailer or tents. Even with a few generators running during the day the camp sites are far enough apart, noise is not an issue. They do have potable water hand pumps available. Site 7 was fully shaded by the tall pine trees. Nice elevated natural patio area with picnic table and fire pit. National forest so you have to buy your firewood from the camp host or go hunting through the woods to find your own to cut and chop. Nice creek on one side of the campground and Meadowlark Lake is a short drive for fishing and kayaking.
