I stayed 2 nights in loop A. View of the lake was close enough. Loop A did not have any hookups, dump station was closed for the winter. Firewood is available at the desk for $10/ bag. Generator hours are 0900-1100/1700-2200. Cell coverage was good enough to hotspot my phone and watch Netflix on an Apple TV. Staff was friendly. Checkin... more

Checking in after 1700 wasn’t possible because the desk was closed until the morning. Did not use the bath/shower rooms but they were available.

My negative complaint is that the photo for our site was misleading. Don’t get me wrong, the site was large, well maintained, close to the bathrooms and water, and beautiful. However, the online photo when booking does not say there are 2-4 trees at the entrance of the site that make it very difficult to back in and out of. We had no warning of this before hand and in order to pull out we had to hook and unhook our 28ft pull behind trailer to get the right angle in order leave without hitting the trees.
The other thing I want to mention is that the showers- while clean and free- did not get hot. I’d say that got about luke-warm. Showering in the Fall weather
was not very pleasant.
We would definitely stay again, but at a site more convenient for us. Think it would work great for a tent camper or someone with a small camper.
