Mac Nab Pond NF picnic area and campground is a small (3 sites) campground outside of Ekalaka, Montana. The campsites are fairy dispersed. We chose the site at the top of the hill. Road was a little rough and rutted but we got there fine. Pond is barely the size of a football field. There are 3 official camp sights but there is a large field up above that could fit many campers. There are two farms you can see super close and could hear the horses and dog barking at night. Would stay again.

We were the only ones camping so very quiet. Road to campground decent. Campground roads a little difficult to maneuver if you change your mind between the upper and lower part. We could not negotiate our 30’ tow trailer from the lower area (pond) to the upper (sharp left turn) and drove back out to the gravel road to turn around. We s... more
