We just did a drive through of this area to scout for future locations. It is amazingly beautiful here!

To get to Lower O'Brien, you pass though Upper O'Brien. If you have a bigger rig, I would not suggest even a drive though of this campground. It is small and tight. There is a sign on the left for Lower O'Brien Campground just past the last available place to loop back out of Upper. This is the sign you don't want to go past in anything big.

Most of the campsites here are right along the river. On a weekday in mid June, there was one site taken. You may get a bit of solar here mid day but otherwise it could be tough. Definitely a 'get away from it all' kind of place. With the river between the campground and the road, I couldn't hear any road noise at all.

The water wasn't working when we were there but there was water in the Upper campground.

No cell service on any provider.
