We met up with some friends in the middle of the week here. There was only one other camper there. There are only two spots right by the river where you could walk up and fish from and there are a good amount of trees behind the perimeter spots. The middle spots are more of an open field. There are trash cans and picnic benches at each site and there are a few pull through spots for $20/night the smaller ones are $10/night. It could easily get crowded on a busy weekend. Pets are allowed and there is a spigot for getting water but no hookups

Easy to fish from the bank if you want to. 14 flat and graveled spots with easy access to Get in and out.
Camp Host is very friendly and helpful.
Water is available but no hookups. Nice quiet campground with plenty of space for each campsite to have its own fire ring and picnic table.
Garbage dumpster on site. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stop here for one nigh in mid-July. Wide, flat sites with plenty of space. Water access was a bit far from our site - only one of the three pumps on site appeared to be working. Cell reception was excellent. Riverside sites are the first to go, but mosquitos thicket there. No bugs in our site, which was further back.

Camp ground host was very friendly and helpful, was one of the best camping experiences when camping with a disabled individual that has mobility issues, there is only one handicapped spot out of the 14 but is is right next to the bathroom. Plenty of view, right on the river for fishing. My disabled adult son now wants go camping more often because he didn't have as much issues with enjoying. first one we had tried that ya didn't need a whole lot of mosquito repellent either . Though Camp trailers can fit in there would say it would be a bit snug for them but for tent camping it is great, there are places to get water if you forget yours. You are close to lots of stuff to do including swimming, golf, rock climbing and hiking, but not close enough to be bothered by people enjoying the pools at Heise which their pizza parlor has the most amazing pizza around.

“Small sites and narrow roads”

The only sites our 38' class A would have been comfortable in were the $20/night "double sites" (what everyone else calls pullthroughs), and $20 for no hookups is just silly. The roads were all made very narrow by young trees with branches reaching toward the road. We drove elsewhere.
