Got a decent spot backed up to the Snake River on a Sunday later afternoon, several RZR’s a dirt bikes going up and down the dirt road but I’m sure they’ll die down near sunset. Zero trash after the weekend at the 4-5 sites near me so hopefully campers are being more responsible!

We found a cool spot by the river but quickly realized how much trash there was everywhere. We filled a kitchen size trash bag with what had been left around our site by previous campers. There was a lot of human waste and toilet paper left here too. We cleaned up and made the best of our stay here but I would not come back. It’s such a shame when people want to use public lands but don’t want to care for them.
The cell service and river access were nice though!

Also as other reviews noted, the area has a lot of bugs - which is to be expected in the National Forest. If you have solar panels, it is important to note that most spots have some shade. We had to pull out the generator a few times to make it through due to the lack of sun rays passing through the trees. We pulled the fifth-wheel right up next to the river and it was super quiet and serene when we arrived on a Wednesday afternoon. By Friday afternoon, however, the local crowds came in with their toys and subwoofers. It gets pretty crazy on the weekend and people drive quite irresponsibly on this road. There are a ton of spots, and big rigs can definitely find a spot if you arrive during the week or during off-season.
We would not choose to stay here again, as there are nicer spots up higher by Kelly Canyon that are prettier and have less people.

The road in was washboard gravel, but at 10mph our 38ft motorhome with tandem towdolly and car attached made it just fine. There are many pull offs on this road with some back in, tent, and some spots that can be made into pull through spaces like we did. There are fire pit rings and pit toilets(that weren't open when we were here.) The sites are close to the river and there is a boat launch near by. This area was moderately used and we did see several other RVs and tents here as well as some people driving through while we were here. No one bothered us though and wedstay here again.

Camped right by the Snake River in our 35' RV. The dirty road is maintained. The campsites are very basic just with a fire ring. Very quiet and lots of trees. The only issue is being in a RV- there are areas in campsites where someone has created deep tire tracks. We just avoided those sites. Easy to find a site in our RV.
