Overall Rating
Been camping at Hume lake Campground for about 3 years now. Its a wonderful, quiet and beautiful campground. Ive been at multiple sites and all were great. I have 4 kids and 2 r young toddlers and i think its a great campground for families especially young ones. There is a trail that u can take from the campground that goes around hume lake that is a very easy hike and great for kids! Overall its a wonderful gem hidden in the sequoias =)

Overall Rating
Beautiful campground in the forest. Clean and quiet hours are enforced. No hookups. Be sure to do the 3.5mi walk around the lake (super easy, only took 1.5 hours.) Open when all the National Park campgrounds are closed for COVID-19. Little over an hour down to Sequoia. Roads are narrow and curvy. Saw some Class As in camp but it must have been a harrowing drive to get there. Mostly tent camping. Many of the sites are unlevel despite what the description on recreation.gov says. It was fine for a couple of nights or bring leveling blocks. Some supplies available at the Christian camp market but best to bring your own. Absolutely no cell service.
