Overall Rating
This campground has potable water but is full of downed trees and 1-2x’ tree trunk stumps. We just kept driving further on Quail Flat/ Hume Lake Rd and turned left just past a group camp area, The dirt road runs beside a beautiful meadow and leads to many off shoots with primitive camping circles. Beautiful, private, and mostly quiet except for one loud group on July 3. Dusty, but that’s typical for the area. We filled water containers back at Landslide, but we happier not staying there. Great place to base for visits to Sequoia, Hume Lake, and even a drive to Kings Canyon.
