Last week the price was $16 and now that the summer is over. The price was raised for some reason. Most sites are reserved and the sites that are available first come first serve seem to be only available for one night.

Camp hosts seemed to be on the ball and visible in case one needed their assistance. Our site was marked with our name and dates. Quiet, especially considering how close to town it is.

Bike trail is right by the campground, it goes for 18 miles around the lake. Hike to Old Dillon Reservoir held wonderful views of the lake. Our site was very level. Loop C had the cleanest, non-smelly pit toilets we have seen. only Loop C has 50 amp and water hookups. There is a little vehicle noise from Dillon Dam Road.
If you are headed north on Rt 6, the nearest dump station is at the Blue River Wastewater facility about 7 miles away on Rt 6.
AT&T cell service was perfect 5 bars of 5G.

We just overnighted but it is really nice and convenient off of I-70. Water and electric but no dump station. 9000 ' elevation so no AC needed even in mid July. Half price ($22) with the America the Beautiful pass.

Stayed in late June 2023 and the campground was completely full everyday. The sites are very nice but the main attraction here is access to the lake and bike trail for exploring frisco, dillon, and silverthorne. Very quiet and Cell service matched expectations from previous reviews

Very convenient to the bike trail to Frisco, Dillion and Breckinridge. Views are awesome and for being close to I70 pretty quiet. Only complaint is that other campers in the area started their generators at 7 am. We were in site 13 but sites 21 & 22 are on the water and have great views. Overall a great campsite.

When we were there the aspens have turned to fall colors. Last thing, the campground is closed to supermarket (Safeway) and there are many restaurants nearby. This is definitely a good place to spend multiple days or a good place for a stop over before starting the journey again in the morning.

Two auto parts store in the area. Easy on and off I-70.

Great location just off I-70 with biking trails straight from the campground that connects with lakeshore loop, town of Frisco, and even on to Breckenridge. Fabulous views and flat level site. You can hear the highway noise, but that is expected knowing how close you are to highway. Typical late July monsoon season that had warm days and rain every night from 6-8pm. But that was expected. Just might want to keep your shade rolled in for the late afternoon if you’ll be away for an evening dinner. Camphosts friendly. Sites very clean. Loop C site 31 with water and electric (25&50amp). No nearby sewer without driving back in to Frisco so find alternate along your route on I-70.
