We decided to delay our trip a day so that we could stay at this site again. Incredible views all around and talked up in a nice quiet area. Highly recommend.

We snagged a last minute, one night reservation. We’d been dispersed camping and needed a night of electric to recharge everything. The campground was small but well maintained. The camp host was so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the easy biking access from the campground to the Lake Dillon Recreation Trail.

Only 10 minutes or less away from I-70. This place has one of the cleanest pit toilets we’ve ever seen! The camp host (Curt) was awesome as well! He checked in on campers to make sure everyone was doing okay and keeps the grounds looking great everyday.

Beautiful mountain ranges all around but sites are close together and young pines have not grown in yet. Low views are of all the campers surrounding us in site 5. Other sites probably have better views.

Beautiful views on the old Lowry AFB. Vault toilets, electric and fire rims. Potable water scattered around the campground but no showers. In Dillon close to Breckinridge and Frisco.

We came looking for a completely different spot for camping and the was a No-Go. So we did a quick search of the area and this little spot outside of Dillon popped up. It shows first come first serve but we saw some spots reserved (not sure on that). But definitely an enjoyable spot. Space between neighbors is fairly decent but those that were here on our nights seemed really respectful and quiet the closer to night we got. They have hookups for power but when we were there they didn’t have water (no biggie though). Definitely would come back to stay here. It’s really close to Frisco, Dillon and a couple of ski resorts.

Came to Dillion, CO for an overnight spot, all campgrounds with hookups were full except for one first come first serve spot at this campground. The location is beautiful on top of the hill and the lake close by, each spot comes with a picnic table, grill, firepit and storage bin. It's a smaller campground but all of the spots seem pretty spacious except for spots 17, 18 and 19 but for just one night we didn't mind and the amenity area for each spot is still large. We have a 29ft travel trailer and wouldn't want to fit a larger rig in those spots. $29 for electric only, sharable water spouts throughout the campground, no dump station on site and vault toilets facilities that look like they were cleaned recently. Dog friendly and host lives in a camper at the entrance of the campground. Was told the campgrounds in the area close October 4th so we came just in time!
