Came here end of November during geese migration and saw hundreds of migrating geese coming to this lake. Lots of fishing here. The lake gets stocked twice a year. Spaces are widely spaced apart so you’re not on top of one another. Cell service is good 2 bars. We were the only people here and we will definitely come back.

No problem streaming video with the 2 bars of LTE which is always a plus.

This was a great place to stay for at least one night. We contemplated extending our stay, but decided to stay the course with our current plans. The spots are $8.00 per night, but ours was $4 because of the senior park pass. Most sites seemed to be pull-through, they were all gravel, and had nice picnic tables. I cannot recall if there were firepits because campfires aren't allowed right now anyway. There were pit toilets available. Roads and sites are nicely maintained. No shade because there are no trees. The reservoir has a boat ramp, but the water level this time of year (end of Sept/beg of Oct) is low. Lots of ducks are on the water. Very quiet; far enough off the road to not hear any road noise. T-mobile had 2-3 bars of service. Our AT&T data seemed to be strong. We would definitely stay here again.

Although this is BLM, there is a $8 fee to camp per night. Plenty of pull through and back in spots. Some next to the lake and most of the spots are spread out and away from each other. Each spot has a fire ring and picnic table. Pretty quiet, but can get windy here. Woke up to calm winds and a beautiful sunrise. Verizon signal... more

Spacious and wide open. Good cell signal. Great sunsets. Some traffic noise from the highway, but it dies down at night.

we enjoyed our time here. It was cheap, quiet, peaceful, uncrowded, and maybe boring but we were ready for that. Pretty good AT&T

Beware of rogue winds that can rip your awning off. The day we were there (mid July) the wind varied from calm to about 4mph. We were parked broadside to the westerly breeze. All of a sudden a strong wind hit the side of our 36' DP and rocked us good for about 5 seconds. We had our living room window awning out and it really billowed up. Window awnings hardly even notice 15mph winds. If we would have had our patio awning out facing the wind it would have blown it over our roof.
Several years ago, when we stayed here, the campground host warned us this could happen. Amazing to see such a wind come out of nowhere.

For $8 you get your choice of multiple busted tables and rock ring fire pits. Quite overgrown but absolutely beautiful Oregon country. Quiet. Peaceful. No consumer cellular coverage. Perfect.

Most spots are pull-through, a couple of spots (only) have shade. Pit toilets, good picnic tables, fire pits. Most here were in RVs or 5th wheels; I was the only one in a VW Bus.
A bit of road noise, but the vehicles passing are on a flat, straight highway so it is not at all a problem.
Fishing opportunities!

We came for the fishing. Not disappointed. It is windy here most of the time. But it is a very convenient place to stay over night on the way to somewhere else. Just off the highway but traffic noise isn't an issue.
