Good rest area, minimal other cars, clean bathrooms, solid Verizon signal. Some road noise but great for an overnight stay.

Thankful to come across this rest area in rural eastern Oregon. Flat, safe, clean and warm restrooms. Not too busy. Even a half mile nature walk on the south side of the area! Good birding too. Enough T-mobile service for Zoom meetings.

We couldn’t believe the place wasn’t full.
Big, super clean, heated bathrooms, and strong cell service.
Snow was on the ground and it was lovely.
It comes up a little quickly so when you see the sign that says “rest area - 2 miles” be ready to slow down.

My wife and I stayed here overnight a few days before Christmas on our way west. We arrived well after dark and were relieved to see that even though it was full on winter the entire parking area was plowed. A few trucks came and left during the night but otherwise totally peaceful. Recommended.

Perfect place to stop for the night with a 45’ fifth-wheel. A great place to walk the dogs too. The bathroom facilities looked nice but we did not use them. We didn’t get free TV reception but we did get 2-3 bars of AT&T phone reception to watch Netflix. Would stay here again.

We felt very safe. Before we left in the morning we hiked about a ½ mile up a well marked hiking trail that sign said was a 6 mile loop. We saw several bird watchers. Not much along hiway 20 between Bend and Burns...so this was a very nice surprise. Will definitely stop again on next trip. No water or dump.

Stayed one night. Cell phone service was good. No dump or water. Lots of space to walk your dog and park your rig. Pretty quiet for the most part. Nice and lit as well.
