The park is all gravel with small patches of grass and a few small trees but no shade. It was chilly when we stayed so that wasn't an issue. They have an indoor, heated pool and a sauna, both were lovely. There's also on-site laundry that costs $2.50 for washing and $1.50 for dryer. The office offers basic camping supplies and some souvenirs. They also have free coffee and bagels in the morning. There are 3 fenced dog areas that are clean. This campground is related to The Big Texan restaurant (72 Oz steak free if you eat the meal in an hour), so they offer a free shuttle on the hour starting @4:30pm. There's lots of turnover daily and also a fair number of people living there. They sell propane on site.

I arrived about 9:30, the limo driver on call asked if I needed help and assisted me in picking an available site. It was a nearby easy pull-through on gravel. The next morning I had to move since that site was available only one night ($58ish with Good sam). I selected a concrete pad site which was beautiful, clean and newish. $68ish. The park is clean and neat, many of the sites are refurbished with concrete pads and fresh gravel hardscape. The nearby bathrooms are new, neat and clean. The roadways are gravel pressed into tar or asphalt. I visited the Big Texan restaurant and enjoyed lunch there. I did not take the free limo ride. Good AT&T 5G and WiFi. I'd stay again.

Campground was clean and quiet. Check in was quick and easy. An employee led me to my spot which I pulled through. It was very level and everything was in good working order. I did not use the facilities so I can not talk about them.

The bathhouse was very clean, especially considering there's an indoor pool attached. We've stayed here many times and enjoyed the dog parks.

easy on/off hwy, staff greets you upon arrival and escorts you to site, clean showers and bathrooms, full hookups, caution on very high water pressure - bring your regulator, site was level, good cell reception, fantastic/strong wifi, had what we needed and felt comfortable.

They have an indoor pool and the bathrooms and showers were clean. It worked just fine for us for the one night. We would stay here again if ever in the area. They do have a limo service that will pick you up from the campground and take you to the steakhouse, but we did not have the opportunity to take advantage of that. I’ve heard the steakhouse is great though.

Free shuttle ride over to the big Texan steakhouse and if you’re going to visit this part of Texas you owe to yourself to have a date night at this historic restaurant bar
The only negative is the road noise. The friendly staff, the easy in and out RV spots. Great location make up for it..

No shade, it gets very windy and the sun is strong. Be prepared. The sites are pull through. The Wi-Fi was good when the park wasn’t busy. No campfires, just so you know. ( we didn’t) The dog parks and playground looked well maintained. Close to the highway and a concert venue so there was some noise from that but not bad. We did have to share a picnic table with the neighbor, but weather wasn’t great so it wasn’t an issue.
