“Do Not Stay Here”

This park was more like a trailer park than a RV park. We arrived late and the person who checked us in was grumpy about us getting there around 730 at night. Basically took our money and gave us two spots to pick from and had us find them on our own by pointing and saying one is over there and the other on that side. Site says free Wi-Fi but we could never connect since he never gave us the info on it and as soon as we checked in he turned off the lights and closed down.
Felt very unsafe as there were the same cars circling the campground all night with no exhaust so it was also very loud.
Sites were very trashy from most of them looked like they were lived in permanently.
With this type of environment they should not be allowed to rent by the night or any short term. The fact they have “Best” in their name is a completely wrong.
Highly recommend not even taking a chance with this place.

“The RV park needs lot of work”

Overall Rating

We were looking for reasonably priced RV park in Amarillo for several days, since we needed to fix our TT after hitting a deer. The only available place was this "RV park". The location is quite good right on the highway. The park itself is situated on a very steep slope and the sites are mostly very very unlevel. The park is full of long time residents with trashy trailers with lot of stuff around their trailers. The laundry room was closed. The showers were quite clean. The staff - older lady was very nice. I don't think we would like to stay there again.
