Can’t ask for more! Site #8 was so beautiful. This campground is next to the highway but it was not noisy. Campers coming and going everyday. Good cell service (Verizon) and location for day trips. Hiking/biking trails all within an hour’s drive. Forks is only 30 minutes away and Port Angeles (our favorite) only an hour away. If yo... more

Stayed 4 nights here. in a 40 ft motorhome. I am ADA so used ADA pull thru. Free with Washington State discovery pass. Very woodsy and almost no solar. I have 3 100watt panels and only got 1 amp sometimes. Had to run generator some to keep batteries up, which I hate to do. Almost no one else here, so did not disturb anyone. Cold snap,... more

This is a very nice developed little campground. It never quite filled up while we were hear but was popular. Vault toilets, fire rings, picnic tables. Discover Pass required which is $30 for the whole year. Restaurant within walking distance. A great place to set up and then go out and explore the Peninsula. A bit of road noise during... more

We loved it here. The Sol Duc River is right there for a frigid swim with the kids. The sites are spacious and have a nice picnic table and fire ring. There is No Water and No Garbage. The pit/vault toilets were clean. Easy access to many day trip locations. There was not a lot of sun on the sites for solar, so we had to leave so... more

Nice campground along the 101 in Washington State. Within 20 minutes of Forks, Washington of Twilight fame that has a nice local grocery store. We used this as a place to drop our trailer as we explored the National Park Rainforest, Riola Beach near La Push, and Cape Flattery. The location of the campground worked well for this, and... more

There are nine sites at the DNR campground. It requires the WA state Discover Pass to camp here. $30.00 for the annual pass or $35.00 if bought online. These are very large and mostly easy access sites for both tents and rvs. There are several sites that would handled a larger rv, ours is a 35' fifth wheel. Site one has the best... more

Stayed here 2 nights in #8. Lovely surroundings and the sites set up offered decent privacy. The vault toilet was clean and there was TP. The camp registration board states 7 day stay limit not 10 like in the info in the description here. Very little road noise. I have stayed in numerous locations on the OP and this one is a favorite.... more

Bear Creek campground was really nice. Its a small loop campground with around 15 sites. Its located in a pretty good area to use as a base camp to explore the area. This is another camp where the Discovery Pass is required, but once again no one came by to check. Access couldn't be easier. It is right off hwy 101. Some of the spots... more
