Stayed two days, first night lots of campers, second night only one other camper there. Look for a campsite with a number greater than 17 for a great view of the river valley. Senior America the beautiful pass only $6.00

This BLM campground was a bit tired, but the price was right. You get to only pay $5 if you have a senior park pass. We arrived at 2:00 and it was empty, by evening about 6 other campers came in. The back in sites are much nicer then the pull through sites as far as site quality, views and road noise and able to accommodate big rigs. Pit toilets, fire pit, tables, camp host, no cell service. There was a site dedicated to motorcycles or bikes and 1 double site. There is potable water that is trucked in, firewood and some OHV trails.

Lots of space between sites, some new pit toilets that are the best I've experienced, quiet, and a friendly camp host. Score!

We stayed in the pull thru loop as we didn’t want to disconnect. The sites in the back in loop were a lot more scenic - some overlooked the pond and most were in trees. Our site was good - long, wide and level. Some of the other sites in the loop didn’t look like they were used very much as the grass was pretty long.
It was only a short drive on a good gravel road in from the highway.
The campground has a beautiful site that is reserved for bicyclist and motorcyclists.
The campground also had a host that drove around to make sure that everything was ok.
We did not have cell service while there.
The location for us was perfect - we had just driven the Top of the World, Taylor Hwy and needed a break from driving.
