I agree with Joe's review about the potholes. It's a nice quiet campsite. We walked on the trail. Plenty of room for our 37 ft 5th wheel to turn around and park next to the lake.

Stayed two days, first night lots of campers, second night only one other camper there. Look for a campsite with a number greater than 17 for a great view of the river valley. Senior America the beautiful pass only $6.00

We stayed here several nights and enjoyed seeing the moose. No fish in the little lake. We did pick up a lot of litter. Even though it's back from the highway still heard trucks going passed.

We arrived at about 3:30 PM. It's early in the season and they had plenty of spots. They have 20 amp sites with a place to dump and fill water on your way in. It's quiet and Chicken is a fun place to walk around.

It's drain is 8" above grade so have to tip the hose while dumping. Filled with water from the spick on the side of the building.
