We stayed in #12 in Sept. 2021 and #11 in June 2022. Both back up to a lovely, large grassy space. We are so impressed with this park. So was our puppy who has been on the road for 3 weeks confined in a small Class B. He (and we) loved the lush grass and all the birds. He was able to roll around outside without getting dirt, burrs, foxtails, or anything else stuck in his fur.
Trees offer shade, and though it was 88° and sunny when we arrived, we didn’t need to run the a/c because of the shade and breezes.
Despite being conveniently next to Highway 80, road noise wasn’t an issue. You can hear the big trucks when you’re outside, but it’s intermittent and sounds farther away than it is. The campground was full, but it was so quiet you would never know.
The sites are close together, but there is plenty of room behind the rigs to spread out a bit.
Owners are super friendly and helpful. We love this place and will be back.

Nancy, the owner:hostess had set up a ladybug discovery tour around the park. They have a small veterans museum that’s cute also. Only advice is get your provisions in Wells before arriving.

( she can really produce a few empties) haha! Overall loved the place and highly recommended it! Can’t say enough about the owners and their hospitality!’ Wi-Fi is not included but costs $5 a day for 2 devices. No problemo!

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #2, a PT FHU site for $33/night. Small park right off I-80 making it very convenient although on the noisy side from road traffic. Nice park – trees, grass and a small creek/pond which is very different from most parks in the area. The owners are always around working on fixing up the park or doing maintenance. They really work on the details. The interior road is gravel and the sites are gravel and grass. The biggest downside is how close the sites are together – reach out and touch your neighbor close. Most of the PT sites are in open sun except for 16 which has some shade. Some of the back in sites have shade as well. I did not use the bathrooms or the laundry. The owner cleans them daily. Verizon was spotty, small number of OTA stations, no wifi. There isn’t much of a grocery store in Wells so come loaded up or be prepared to drive to Elko (which has some really good restaurants!) It was a pleasant place to stay for a couple of days in spite of the highway road noise.

Beautiful site, clean bathrooms, quiet and friendly. We had 2 tents for our family of 5 and they charged us for 2 tent sites in order to use both tents on a single tent site. Because of that we wouldn’t stay again in tents. Great for single tent or trailer. Water access.

Steve met us at the entrance and escorted us to our site. The grounds are very well groomed and there is ample room to relax in the shade or walk by the creek. Try the cute ladybug scavenger hunt if you have little ones….or even if you don’t have kids. It’s a great way to experience the property,
We’re likely to stay here again on our return trip.

We almost want to live here… except for the ever-present traffic noise from I-80, only 1-bar of ATT cell and could not stream. Also because of limitations with their septic system they have a phased dumping schedule and no black tank flushing.
Would definitely stay here again and make destination along our way.

This is a great place to lay over and visit the Lamoille Canyon which is known as the Swiss Alps of Nevada. It is located just south of Elko.
There is a little train noise - blowing the horn when it gets to Wells, but this all stops in the evening. Some highway noise, but not enough to bother.

Hi, I’m Shorty the dog. I’ve just spent two wonderful weeks at this doggy heaven.
There was plenty of grass to walk on, so my feet never got stickers in them.
Also, loads of shade trees to cool off under when I got hot.
My peeps also agree that it is a great little RV park.
I give this park five gold paws and will definitely be back!
