If your timeline needs and overnight stop, it will do. Gas is on site and the cafe has good food. Gravel/dirt sites that are fairly level. It’s a large place that needs some TLC. It has potential to be a great park. Water, electric only, some trees but starlink was clear for us.
Most available sites were taken. I swung around a few trees and had to jack front tires off ground to level. Otherwise quiet except for some noisy kids. Would stay again but arrive middle of week.
Dry camped one night off I-94, Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Easy in/out, paved right up to campground entry. Yes, I know, it’s a long weekend, school just got out etc. - but wow, many crazy kids on minibikes & golf carts with minimal/no supervision. Unless you're approaching the campground from the north on Highway 89, you'll be making a left turn into the campground at a traffic light with no green arrow and limited long-range visibility of oncoming traffic, so prepare to be patient.
