The cost for this is extremely tight places and if your rig is bigger than 20ft w pull outs, you will have zero room. Found it impressive that big rigs actually got into these spaces. The sites in the back are much roomier with the cost being the ocean is hard to view.
There is not much beach, especially during high tide so sand walking is not friendly.
Cute little snack shack on site but it was closed due to remodeling. Bathroom/showers very well maintained. Goods/services about 15 min drive. Road noise there but not bad. Wifi ok except during peak hours. All in all, if beach access was easier would be 5 stars

Access was easy, steep entry.
Most sites were back in. We fit well, but with the dolly tow and sedan it became snug. 50/30/20 amp hook up, swerve and water at many sites.
Concession type restaurant stand on site with reasonable prices. Showers as well.
Beach access on site. However, somehow there was a significant amount of oil spilled on the beach during our visit.
Ventura approximately 20 minutes away with ferry access to Channel Islands National Park.

This was a great park for an RV stay right on the beach. Full hookups are available for a great rate, considering the location. I stayed in site 39, which was level left-to-right, had a concrete pad, and was adjacent to a common-use grass area. I stayed in site 39, which was level left-to-right, had a concrete pad, and was adjacent to a common-use grass area. The grass area turned out to be where a lot of campers let their dogs handle business, but it wasn’t a big deal. There was a clear ocean view
from anywhere in the park.

Nice spot. A lot of people need to be sure to cancel if they can’t make it. Was booked full but actually 25% occupied. Sites are tight with tables.

Site 8 was amazing! Right next to the stairs to go down to a little cove with sand. If you go down father in the campsite it’s all rocky! Stayed here with our 2 year old and it was amazing! Played on the beach all afternoon! Would definitely stay here again!

This park is pricey and the spots are tight (and hard to get in), but it's a little gem! I was woken up every morning by the waves crashing in the bus bedroom window (the first morning, I felt like I was in a car wash... hummm...!). We climbed on the bus roof to drink our morning coffee (because you would get splashed if you sat on the rock wall between the campsite and the sea!) and watched whales swim by! The campground is right on the beach, so we spent our days boogie boarding and kayaking! The sunsets are out of this world!
Note that there are cheaper site with no service on the side of the road (20$).
One downside is that our bikes and rig got some damage for the salt water... Make sure you rinse them after each high tide, or park a little further from the sea! Also, keep everything of value locked up at night. One more thing, squirrels live in the rocks. Don't leave food unattended.
