"Great one or two night RV overnight."

Located just off highway 385 which means constant traffic. Located next to horse shoe pits. Located next to recreation park. Great facilities but no toilets. Picnic tables. A great stop to move between New Mexico and Texas.

"Sun and solitude"

A very peaceful place. Not the easiest place to get to but worth it. Must have high profile vehicle. No large RVs or trailers. The gravel road is one lane. Cow Lake is 1.2 miles off the main gravel road.

Great campsite not far from I-90. Camping in a big field. Camping can be RV or tents. Camping limitation is 7 days. Camping can be risky on raining days. There is a small boat or raft launch in the immediate area.

Best days are Sunday to Thursday. Busy days are Friday and Saturday. Lots of trees. Plenty of separation between campsites. Plenty of different campsites.

"Great quiet Texas state park campsite."

This is one of two Texas State parks on Lake Cooper. A good distance from I-30 plus some two lane roads to get to the park. The park is very quiet. Best days are Sunday to Thursday. Busy days are Friday and Saturday.

"Very good location next to Big River with boat ramp. "

Good location south of St. Louis. Boating, swimming, camping. Two vault toilets. In between Dittmer and Hillsboro. Must get permit which can be obtained online.
