“Location Is Great”

Perfect for a one night stay to visit the brewery. Security patrols and sea lions barking in the distance made this a great stop. Little spendy to park in a parking lot, but we would stay again.

The RV park could not accommodate our coach with cargo trailer attached, but the dry camping area worked out for us. Beautiful view and safe area. Enjoyed the Rogue Ale Brewery.

Location is near the harbor.
It is located just under the Newport bridge.
Plenty of space to spread out.

It’s a parking lot for $30 a night. We moved on a Saturday and couldn’t find any spots so we ended up here.
There’s no amenities and the check in process is weird. But it’s right at the Marina which is beautiful!

This is just a parking lot adjacent to the city based RV park. The Park Host is fantastic and makes the visit worth the price just st with all the great local info.

They had a temporary dry camping lot set-up when we visited in July 2016. It looked liked they were doing construction in the normal area. The laundry facilities were nice, make sure to get the code. They also give you coupons to the nearby aquarium and information for public transportation.

This is an asphalt parking lot to the south of the campground's full hookup area, and between the Rogue Distillery and Rogue Brewery and overlooks the small boat harbor and the beautiful Yaquina Bay Bridge. The sites are striped long RV parking spots. It does slope a bit, we had to use a few leveling blocks. Our rating is influenced by the fact that we were the only ones in the dry camping area, it may be a totally different experience if all sites are full.
Just three steps down was the harbor sidewalk, with a fish cleaning station, a Rogue Distillery bar, and informative signs along the way and a jetty with a little park area with some picnic tables on the end overlooking downtown. This walk was great for doggie with several grassy areas along the way.
There are restrooms, showers and a laundry by the registration office which is walking distance. We only tried the showers but all looked sparkling clean. We used the trash cans on the harbor which were closest. There are recycling bins in the main campground, but glass recycling bins were only available in front of the brewery. Cellular signal was the strongest we had in a while.
The Rogue Brewery is a few steps away and the Newport Aquarium just a little further walk. Downtown is just across the bridge and the artsy town of Nye Beach just a few minutes further. There is a Safeway, a Fred Meyer and a Walmart about fifteen minutes away. The Yaquina Bay Outstanding Area is about twenty minutes away, with a beautiful lighthouse, a rocky beach area with tide pools, more beach, bird and marine life - highly recommended.
