We somehow found one spot basically on the lake. Peaceful and quiet mostly because all the sites were reserved, but with no one in them. The mosquitos were fierce!!!! Like maybe some of the worst we have experienced. There is a nice trail around the lake. We hiked the lake part each morning with our dog. Very beautiful. Great Lake ... more

Okay, I'm a little torn on this campground. I'm rating it four stars, because I would have enjoyed it a LOT more if I'd visited outside of the busy summer season (late June). “Watch for low hanging branches!”

This is a very nice campground on Diamond Lake. Not the best but not the worst. The roads in the campground are tight and there are low hanging branches everywhere, so beware! We acquired a trailer length scratch and also a broken AM/FM antenna due to these branches. We were there on 9/1 for 3 nights and it was very cold. There wa... more
