"Pickleball “courts” suck"

Yes this is a beautiful setting. For what they charge vs. amenities you would think they could invest $100 to replace crappy broken down nets just saying. So now we drive into town to play.

"A Great Park With Wonderful Staff"

This park is very nice and maintained well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Brandon and Carrie (park managers) worked non stop during our 3 night stay but always made themselves available to help or answer questions. The pool, hot tub, laundry and beer garden are all nice as well! We had a great stay and would highly recommend this park.

We tent stayed here for 2 nights. Right on the stream hot spring fed! It cuts out the noise of traffic for the most part. Bathrooms are neat and clean, 2 showers- with hott water. Easy access to mammoth site, crazy horse and mt Rushmore is all close.

"Not Our Favorite "

Conveniently located right next to a major highway and a very busy street. Attempted to get a hold of the office multiple times never got an answer, never got a call back, showed up, and there was plenty of availability. It suited our need for a quick overnight on the road. Not the best kept RV park that we’ve been to.

"Maintenance Nightmare "

active staractive starinactive starinactive starinactive star
This campground was recommended by locals as better than the Days of 76 at the north end of Deadwood, however I disagree. This CG has seen the rougher side of a Sturgis Bike Week and is in need of significant maintenance. If it’s hot, this “gulch” would be good because there is shade in the morning and evening making it much cooler. There is...
