Large pull throughs available. Easy on off the main roads and the sites were well kept and level. Pool, frisbee golf, lots of open spaces for walking with pets. We would come back.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. We were originally disappointed that we couldn’t get a space in Custer State Park but after staying here I don’t think I would bother trying to stay in the park. It’s 12 miles from the Wildlife Loop in CSP and very close to just about everything else you would want to do in the area including the Needles Highway. It’s maybe 30-40 minutes to Mt Rushmore but the drive is so beautiful that it flys by. We stayed in lot 702. I would recommend the 600 or 700 rows. They are higher up and more wooded. From our site you can clearly see the Cathedral Spires rock formations. As of September 2022 everything here seems to be brand new. The electrical box and water supply is band new as is the Wi-Fi pole right next to our site.

Lovely pool and jacuzzi, clean laundry facitilies, lots of space for roaming around. Non-touristy town of Custer one minute away. New owners as of 6 yrs ago and they have modernized everything. It was previously a Jellystone Park so some of the defunct Dino statues can be found in the outer parts of the park. Also a defunct tiny locomotive railroad which would be really cool if it were working. Can’t say enough great things about this place!

We pulled in here today and got a great site without a reservation. The staff is super friendly and gave us great info about the area. My husband and I are traveling in a 30’ Winnebago with three German Shorthaired Pointers. They have been great but aren’t used to being on a leash this much. This facility has a huge grassy area behind the store that they let dogs be off leash. It’s not fenced so you need to be able to control you dogs and it is just what our guys need. The sites each have grass, some have trees and the sites are roomier than most. Thank you Campendium!!!

Everything here is top notch! Bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day. There is a family and adult only pool! The camp store has everything you forgot! Close to Custer and really anything you want to do in the Black hills area! Site had plenty of room for our travel and our tow vehicle!

This campground had gorgeous views of the Black Hills. Cell reception was excellent. We were able to pick our own tent site which was nearby the bathrooms. I liked the laundry being nearby the pool so that I could wash some clothes while my son swam. The night view of the stars was excellent!
