Will come again.

We loved it here. The office staff are exceptional, campground was clean and well kept, strong cell signal, and the kids loved the playground. It's a short drive into Custer, Windcave, or Jewel Cave. We absolutely loved our stay and recommend to all!

They have multiple kinds of lodging/tent/RV. 2 pools/hot tub. 24 hr laundry facility/restrooms and the restrooms are private and “normal” sized showers. Great playground for the kids, disc golf, etc. Pet friendly however they don’t have an actual fenced dog area.

Everything here is top notch! Bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day. There is a family and adult only pool! The camp store has everything you forgot! Close to Custer and really anything you want to do in the Black hills area! Site had plenty of room for our travel and our tow vehicle!

This campground had gorgeous views of the Black Hills. Cell reception was excellent. We were able to pick our own tent site which was nearby the bathrooms. I liked the laundry being nearby the pool so that I could wash some clothes while my son swam. The night view of the stars was excellent!

Pros: Clubhouse, pool, laundry, showers, cabins, Teepees, tent area some sites with level concrete patios. Wifi worked great.
Cons: Water pressure low had to use onboard pump, sites on hill are unlevel. Call and request sites with concrete pads if not you are assigned a spot.
Other: People walking through campsite and barking dogs. Had to place picnic table across camp to block foot traffic. Also bring 20 foot of sewer hose.
Overall: Nice resort. Should improve in next two years with improvements.

This is by far the best campground I have stayed at. I was skeptical of our campsite location, but it was great with having a child that I could see from the camper when playing at the playground. The pool and hot tub were simply amazing to have as an option for after a day's worth of hiking. The laundry and facilities were extremely clean. Every staff member was very friendly and helpful to our family. Highly recommend this location. As we have been planning our next vacations, my husband and I discussed how Buffalo Ridge spoiled us. I don't think we will be able to find another campground that gives us the same accomodations.

We are leaving this place kicking and screaming! After two months on the road, this is our new favorite campground. They have everything you could ever want and more. To begin, I was welcomed with the smell of fresh popcorn when I entered the office to check in. The staff was helpful and friendly and the place was immaculate. As soon as we found our spot, our kids were raring to go to the playground. They immediately met some friends and they played together the entirety of our stay. The only downfall was that our site wasn’t level, but it wasn’t that big of a deal to remedy. We had full hookups with both 30 and 50 amp options. The water tasted good with no funky smell. Decent sewer Connection. They are dog friendly, with dog stations conveniently placed around the grounds. The laundry room and bathroom facilities are clean and maintained. We used the pool every night and it was the perfect place to meet other families. The sport shop in the office has some great apparel and souvenirs! The grounds are near enough to town to be convenient and far enough out to not be noisy. I can’t imagine a better stay than the one we had! 10/10, would absolutely recommend!
