The only thing is the directions are incorrect when you turn on 63 do not turn the GPS turn it brings you to Lemmon Park where there’s no hook ups or RVing stay straight on street and then you’ll see the sign for N. 6th St., Park and take a right right after that and I believe it’s your first right once you turned into the park right across from a baseball field and a children’s play area

Arrived at dark, quietly navigated myself to the wide open lot (this is the off season), and was pleasantly surprised. Playground! Mural! Big shady trees! We almost chose the over-lit WalMart lot to be walking distance to Taco Bell, but now we’re a beautiful long walk to a downtown cafe. There is just no way any other “quick overnight” could be this quiet and relaxing! In the future I will plan a full day of rest / productivity here, it’s just lovely.
At the time of my off-season visit I was the only one here on a Saturday night. I think I would have still enjoyed it if we had to back in tightly.

We had water and electric and a dump station is a short distance away. The sites are all grass fronting a large gravel parking lot and have nice tables. It was a quiet and safe park, part of the large city park with ball fields, pool, playgrounds, and picnic areas. It was a great choice and you can stay for 7 nights. No one else was camped here while we were there.

I arrived after hours but had contacted City Hall and they let me know there’s a drop box to leave the $10 payment on the honor system. Saw police patrolling the park as I pulled in just before 11:00 pm. I was the only camper this night. Very peaceful. Saw lots of RVs at the Walmart (free) a couple miles away
