When we tried to cancel four days prior to our stay we were told that the entire $280 deposit was nonrefundable. They cited a passage in the confirmation e-mail that said seven day cancellation $10 cancellation fee. We were excited to stay here over the 4th of July and had booked many months in advance. When we arrived we were put into a water/electric site even though we had booked a full hook up site. If you don’t want to stay on the waterfront of Seward, this is a great, conveniently located new campground. We stayed here on their Week 1 of opening, so there were still a few tweaks required. It’s located on the road to Exit Glacier, so very convenient for an early morning visit, before the crowds get there. With the exception of ... more
