"Upkeep and Maintenance are an Afterthought in this RV park"

active staractive starinactive starinactive starinactive star
This a gas station with a convenience store and a formerly nice RV park. The RV sites have not seen upkeep or maintenance for some time. It's in a wooded area with sites that maybe 10 years ago were level, but today we a bit challenged for level and upkeep. We'd prepaid so we stuck it out, but had we not paid a few days ago we would have...

Just ok… clean…gravel pull through…We were here in shoulder season( fall).. not many RV’s in camp… which was good cause there not enough baths to handle the masses if they were about.. there is a dog kennel next door… you better like hearing dogs barking . A bit much… and I am a dog person ..

We tried to stay here but after trying two different sites, we moved on. We've camped for 30+ days this trip and have never left a park for any reason. Let’s start with bathrooms—6 private bathrooms that were cleaned multiple times each day; hot water, good pressure and no extra charge or time limit. Yay for good bathrooms! The beach is EPIC! We went tide pooling every day. Lots of places to have a beach campfire too. The...

"Expensive, Convenient and Pretty"

active staractive staractive staractive starinactive star
Like everyone says, it’s pricey and not really what you’d expect for $75/night but there’s not much else to write home about as far as campgrounds go in Fairbanks. The staff was responsive and kind. The grounds are pretty and the river view is lovely. Showers are pretty clean, hot and no extra charge. There are plenty of spaces in sizes to fit...
