We stayed here as base camp for the eclipse and drove to the location for the show. The site is operated by the city and is very nice. It is across from the city park and community center so there are events you can crash sometimes. The play area for the kids is very nice with many things for them to burn off energy. There is an area for tents as well but there is no power there. We did a drive by tour of the town, and went on a couple walks, very safe and friendly people. There was a EMS fund raiser at the ambulance hall so we stopped and got a couple plates on our departure.
We arrived around 4pm, there were four open spots and two more guests arrived throughout the night. Pulling in was easy once we figured out the sewer layout. If you do not have a sewer adaptor like the Campco 39144 it would be good to have because the sewer connection is small. The electric is clean and mounted at a nice height on the pole and the water is below grade with a metal cover, all very easy and nicely done.
The local kids gather at the end of the park for a hour or so seems every night but things get nice and quite by 9:30-10:00pm.
Great safe and free site, I sure hope people take care of this place and support the town while they are there.

Nice little free way station to use for traveling when you need a spot to rest. 15/30/50 amp plugins and septic too it appears. 5 spots with hook ups but could use the area for boondocking too. Site areas are a little rough but they worked for us.

Nothing fancy but there are full hookups although we didn't use the dump. However, it's FREE!!! Basically an asphalt lot but surrounded by green park. There is a nice baseball field directly across the street with huge lights. Probably wouldn't be a good idea to stay here when a game is scheduled. There were toilets in the main park area but unfortunately, some of the worst I've seen. Luckily, we didn't need them. Thanks you Tatum, NM!

Pulled in late at night and out in the morning. We are self contained so didn’t try hookups. Safe, level, quiet. No frills, but it was all we needed. Thank you, Tatum!
