Are there many dispersed spots for larger rigs at Ophir Pass? I'll be pulling a 28 foot TT. Thank You!

We camped here 9/24/20- 9/28/20. There are several spots to choose from. There's a place to turn around 'if needed' once you cross the bridge. The site is on the right. I wouldn't go any farther in a large RV. There's a great hiking trail nearby. It's called Columbine Lake Trail. It's a difficult 8 miles round trip but well worth it. The first 2 miles are toughest. I highly recommend it. We had 3 moose crossing that was about 50 yards away from camper one evening. The place is peaceful and relaxing. WE had Cell Service with our BOOSTER.

With a little bit of pre-scouting we found a spot tucked away from the main, busier areas. Great access to both Ouray & Silverton bring literally off the Million Dollar Hwy, though just 5+ mikes north of Silverton. Good access to trails and Jeeping. Minor noise from the road.

We were able to park our 24ft travel trailer and a friend’s 31ft Airstream here. The sites are rocky, but it is stunning. Don’t go here at the moment as it’s not allowed because it’s on a county road and San Juan County has SIP orders. No cell service but five minutes up the road you can get a couple bars of LTE.
