We stayed for 5 nights while exploring Nashville. When we arrived, the signage gave us the impression registration was at the booth. We called and the lady said to “come up the hill to the general store.” It would have been more clear for her to say “look to your left and come up those steps into that building,” because we ended up driving around the corner past the pool and seeing no store. So we called again and she directs us back to entrance. We had seen the building but approached it from the back by the pool and didn’t see store. Called again and she said it was that first building. So, started out frustrated. Then went to site and it was not very level with no shade. We found a better spot and called requesting change and she accommodated us. Bathrooms/showers were clean except for the grass and mud tracked in. Campground pretty dusty.

When we came in 30 min before our schedule time to start stay got checked in pretty quickly but when we went to our lot and someone was there, the people insisted on trying to beat us back to the office to discuss it with the secretary at the check in, after waiting for the entire check in line to finish she said she couldn’t give us another spot even this there were at least 6 different sites next the original site open, we waited almost two hours for the people to vacate our spot and missed half our show we were seeing that day, honesty want to believe she assigned us that spot specifically so the squatters would be pressured to leave, also good to mention multiple times their “site checkers” (whose job I’m guessing it was to ensure the site was clear) driving around on golf carts 3 different times in the short time we were driving through the site would stop to talk to people and chat for as long as 5-10 minutes purposely parking in the middle of at times a two lane area so that no one could go around them to the point people were honking while on that particular occasion the man just totally ignored everyone without care(mind you that was also the occasion we first were pulling into our site already late because of them.

My wife, 2 dogs and I stayed here for three nights. We were looking for a place close to Nashville to use a home base to explore the area. There are three RV parks and a Camping World all next together at this location, KOA,(expensive), 2 Rivers, (moderate), and this campground. We picked this campground because it was the least expensive of the 3 and it was large, so we were guaranteed to get a site. We were planning on exploring the area, so campground amenities were last on our priority list as we would gone most of the day. But, we found that this park had a really nice pool, and playground for kids. The shower house was clean but feeling its age, (the other shower house was was being renovated while we were there). Our site was adequate width wise, but tight front to back and This made the journey in and out a slow go navigating between rigs and tow vehicles that encroached into the roads. My 30 foot travel trailer and tow rig just fit if I parked my truck to the side of the hitch and overlapped a couple feet. I would say the park was 60 percent full and I lot of one nighters came and went during out 3 days so we never felt crowded. There is a $10 per person shuttle to get you downtown, and the Grand Ole Opry is right down the street. It is near a highway, but traffic noise wasn't an issue. So if you want to explore the area, this is a good value.

We stayed here to attend a conference at Opryland. It was convenient. But very crowded and noisy. We were right by the bathrooms and laundry. The foot traffic is so heavy. There was a nice dog park area.

The good: location, cell service, dog park, playground for kids
The bad: bathhouses are not clean, roads are tight and the sites are small. Ours was incredibly uneven. Talking front tires of motorhome off the ground, and my steps as high as my knee. We had to carry our 45lb Australian shepherd in because she couldn't make the steps.

Some of the sites are too short to comfortably accommodate both the rv and a vehicle, so the cars are parked every which way to fit in the site. There was also vehicle noise throughout the night as people returned to the campground. Overall it was not a pleasant experience. It also rained the second day and there was 4 inches of water pooling on one side of my trailer in front of the door. The poor rain runoff was a problem with many of the other sites as well.

Quite impressed with how clean and well maintained this park was. Big swimming pool, dog park, well landscaped and lots of amenities for kids. We had a nice flat gravel site with water and electric but also noted plenty of hilly sites so keep that in mind when making a reservation. This park was a combination of long and short term trailer campers, RV's and cabins. So-so wifi but cell coverage was strong so I didn't care. Someone else mentioned that KOA bought this recently but they were NOT offering the KOA discount.

The sites are tight. There appears to be a mix of travelers and long term renters. Which is ok but They allow people to park in front and behind their rigs. Due to others parking, to leave I needed to back out of a pull through spot (37ft 5th wheel and dually) into another row to get pulled out. There are plenty of ticks around so watch yourself and any 4 legged friends. Lastly, the bathrooms and shower need serious attention. Use at your own risk. You have been warned. The KOA next door and the Two Rivers campground will be our next choice.

Lots of family fun activities and at $6 per extra person per night, there should be! Our family of four only used the pool, but there was an inflatable obstacle course and mini golf too. I would stay here again if I had to stay in Nashville, but I’m hoping not to! Feels like staying in a beautiful sales yard as all the campers are lined up side by side with only enough room for a picnic table and fire pit in between.
