Rates were increased to $30. Accepts credit cards
A gravel generally level large parking lot with bay front views of gorgeous mountains and glaciers
no trees at all so Starlink worked great at 150Mbps

Arrived around 3:30pm and plenty of spots on water side. Area for tents or RV’s all sizes. So top of the Spit in Homer and just a few minutes to all the shops. High tide beach area lots of small rocks. Low tide water way out there. Sightseeing planes sometimes fly low overhead. Not bad and would stay again.

Sanctioned camping in Homer for $20/night. The waterfront spots were full so I ended up next to the road which was quiet overnight but traffic started up before 5:30am. Garbage truck came at 7:30 am.
A Sunday night mid July was packed..
Don't pay at the kiosk before 2pm. And don't expect a tag on a post to save your spot.

It’s a parking lot however, the view is pristine and unspoiled. Camped here in early May so there were no crowds. Road noise during the day time only. Personally I would not enjoy this “campground” during peak months.

First night our neighbor decided to start his generator at 3am.
Next night our other neighbor left his generator on ALL night long.
For Every campground, there are Quiet Hours. Quiet hours at Mariner Park are listed as 10pm-8am.
Could use an actual Camp Host.

On the weekend, things got a little crazy. People will try to camp in between two rigs. The site post have an arrow showing which way your site extends. We ended up putting a small table beside our rig so no one would try to park in our site.
All in all, a very good dry camping site.

Spot number 34, at the end closest to the day use area, is missing it’s pole - so you’ll have to leave your tag on your windshield when you’re there and put some stuff out to hold your spot if you pull out for a few hours. Also, many of the spots are super wide - wide enough for someone to pull in and park next to their trailer. So don’t be surprised if someone sneaks in and boondocks next to you if there is space to do it. If you want to avoid this you might try parking at an angle.

No frills campground, but you cant beat the view. The lot is something left to be desired, it could use some leveling (potholes everywhere). Pay the iron ranger.
