Lovely place to stay, level parking for camping van. First come, first served. Quiet, clean park. An 8 min drive from I-80 through Sheffield, IL, a small town with a few restaurants.

If GPS tells you to get here via CR 1680, ignore it. It’s a dirt road that goes through a field that was, in my case, flooded. You can access this spot via normal roads from any direction. Features several grills, picnic tables, toilets. There are no guard rails around the lock so be mindful of this if you’ve got kids. Highway noise... more
