Overall Rating

I can’t believe this campground is free! It has everything every other campground we’ve stayed at has and more! There’s a really neat lake right on grounds. A multitude of maintained trails for hiking biking and running are steps away. Pit toilets, swimming, canoeing, fishing etc. clean and quiet and best of all, free🙂

Overall Rating

Nice free campground, Very popular but there were a Few sites left. Just keep following the road, don’t let Google steer You into the woods. Just 2-3 miles.

Kager Lake is one of our favorite stop. There are 8 sites and a big parking lot where you can camp for free (wood included!) that are big enough for RVs, right by a beautiful quiet lake and amazing mountain bike trails.
