We stayed here for 3 nights during our Caravan. The Campground was OK, nothing special. They have sites with full hook ups and sites with 30 AMP and water only (no sewer). The full hook up sites were pretty much taken up by full timers. The Camp Ground host was nice enough but this place was really nothing special. Unfortunately it is ... more
We stayed here for 3 nights during our Caravan. The Campground was OK, nothing special. They have sites with full hook ups and sites with 30 AMP and water only (no sewer). The full hook up sites were pretty much taken up by full timers. The Camp Ground host was nice enough but this place was really nothing special. Unfortunately it is the best campground within 30 miles of the Ford Rouge Plant. Would not stay here again unless I absolutely had to.

Do not use them to refill your propane tank, literally highway robbery. I'm used to paying a premium, but this was ridiculous. The CG host is super sweet and nice. She tries to get you the best site. She really helps make this CG better. The sites are packed in there, but they feel roomy enough. It's real pretty here. They do have ... more

The CG host is super sweet and nice. She tries to get you the best site. She really helps make this CG better. The sites are packed in there, but they feel roomy enough. It's real pretty here. They do have a Sulphur issue, and you will smell it, but its safe. Because of that, I didn't use their showers. The bathrooms are clean enough, but desperately need an upgrade. They say they have 'modern' bathrooms. What they really mean is that they flush. It would be nice if they upgraded those, it would make a world of difference.
It's easy to dump on the way in, you have to turn around to dump on the way out.
In short, it's an average CG, but seems safe and secure, and that should be your #1 priority. It's also quiet.

We had a lot of fun really friendly people. Took us to our site made sure we were all set and good to go. Only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is the pond needs some work to be swim ready.

Overall Rating
Stayed here for one night during shoulder season. It was very quiet and access in/out with a 34' motorhome was easy. Staff was friendly and waited for us to arrive at almost 7p even though they were at end of season.
