AT&T coverage was quite good, with 3 Bars of 5G service and speeds up to about 7 MB/s. We had a clear view of the southern and northern sky, so we were able to get DISH coverage on all three western satellites at our site and Starlink had speed up to 10 MB/s. There are about 30 wineries in the Grand Junction, TWP, Colorado Vintners Collective and Restoration Vineyard, had some really nice offerings.

Our site is right on the Colorado River and very nice; all sites have covered picnic tables and windbreaks as it was quite windy but very warm (for November). The freeway noise was barely noticeable from our site and the infrequent trains passing on the other side of the river were more charming than irritating. A great stopover close to the freeway.

Another one night stop and one I'd make again. The park is located just off I-70 and east to access. The rangers working the campground were friendly and helpful at check in, the sites/campground roads are paved and quite level. The restroom/shower facility was clean. Note that in 2022, Colorado has converted their State Park showers from coin operated to free. I was at a back in site, but there were some pull through sites (one across from me) to accommodate larger rigs. I didn't notice much noise from the highway and had a peaceful night of sleep. The location is scenic, with plenty of birds and the occasional bat around sunset. There are some fruit orchards in the nearby communities, which would be a nice treat in season. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely return.

The I70 is about 200 yards away. I had site 15 by the River. Train tracks on the far side of the river but only one train came by while I by while I was there, at about 8:30 pm. Nice stop along the way though.

Stopped here after leaving Utah. Easy access from highway. Large campground, many sites with electric some with full hookups. Beautiful natural setting. An occasional train and traffic noise from I70 are not bad.

Very pleasant ranger checked us in. We arrived around 2:30 without a reservation and got a very nice pull through site with full hookups. Yes the interstate is on one side and rail road tracks on the other side, but this will not bother us. Great place for an overnight stop.

They have a very short but pleasant walking/bike path on the Colorado river, that stunk while we were there. It also has clean pay showers, a small laundry, playground and picnic areas. Most of the picnic tables have a shelter but ours did not. Honestly, this is a typical state park but the views are amazing. The only downside to this park is their obsession with the State Park Pass. I returned from a grocery trip once, and was waved through and then flagged down as soon as I passed the window by someone else who didn’t see the pass. Make sure you have and display the pass!

The campground is right off I-70 so the sites along the highway are very noisy. All the sites we saw were very well maintained (except one with tons of ants). We showed up unannounced and all the sites were full except one reserved spot that the tenants were not expected the night we arrived. The Park ranger that assisted us was so friendly and helpful and put a lot of working into getting us onto a site for the night. The roads through the sites has a few really tight curves for out super long rig set up but we were able to get into the site well enough. Each site has a table and awning. As well as , fire pits. The site was graveled and level ( and had no ants;)
