This “in town” park has 65 long (70 foot) level, pull through FHU gravel sites. There are a mix of long term and short term sites, but the short term sites are scattered and mixed between the long term sites, rather than being clustered together. There is WiFi but it worked poorly where we were located. Our site (#20) was fine and had a tree on each side which was very helpful since it is hot here. The park has a small laundry room, a rec room and bathrooms with showers. They also have cable hook up, but it was a bit fuzzy. OTA channels were clear, but were mostly non network channels. We did not bother to set up our portable dish because we are here only for one night. There is no designated dog park. Both AT&T and Verizon cell phones work well. Since we are usually out and about during the day anyway, I would not mind staying here for a few days if I was visiting Fredericksburg. We have stayed here a couple other times and although the park is definitely not a resort, it is a convenient location.

All pull thru sites. Closest park to town. Didn't use bathrooms or laundry, Great place to stay when exploring the area. Very quiet at night. Mostly permanent sites but it is clean. Site 59 is between two fancy park models.

The RV park is fine.. Pull throughs, close to everything. Great price, and yet, like so many of the parks on this trip. The long term campers simply take over. In some places this is no big deal. The owners of the park make them clean up their sites. You can't bring in the storage tubs, sheds, tarps, plastic flowers, pallet decks, bricks, all the owners have to say is; "Clean up your site, or leave.." There's no place else for them to go. THey'll clean it up. And then you can charge more and make more $$$. (We own an RV park, it's an issue) The dingo dog who was on a chain next door, thankfully was friendly. Chain was long enough for him to go underneath my rig. And to drop a steamer. Which I promptly stepped in. Nice way to start the day. I was careful to avoid stepping in anymore of his "gifts" after the first episode. The park has two areas. One is the front which most of the long term camps were in. Many of the RV's looked as if they would need to be towed upon leaving. Lot's of duct tape. The back end has more or less permanent park models. Lot's of decks, porches, and some really nice rigs. "A tale of two cities..." Anyhow.I didn't use the bathroom. Otoh, the owners are quite nice. Very friendly. It's really close to town. It could be a great park w/a little body and fender work. Alas, that doesn't seem to be in the plans...All of the long term campers kept to themselves. It was quiet at night. Most seem to be working. In summary. If you stay, try and get a site in the back, you'll see it on the map. The nightly rates are cheap enough to make up for any of the visual blight you may see. We basically came back late, got up early and it worked fine. Even if you camp next to dingo dog. He's an OK pooch. Just wants attention.

We enjoyed our 7 day stay and the $160 weekly rate. Even though the park is rough around the edges we found it worth every penny. We camped at Quiet Creek/ The Vineyards for the 2 days previous to our stay at Hill C. RV park and found it to be overpriced. We were so glad we moved. All the sites are level pull thru and FHU with good wi-fi and cable. The location was excellent (near Walmart and Whataburger) and quiet. The long term residents were older and kept to themselves. Some sites were unsightly and others had beautiful permanent tiny homes. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were ok and the showers had plenty of hot water.
We enjoyed Enchanted Rock SP, the LBJ ranch and the National WW II Museum of the Pacific very much.

Not a winner place. Lots of full timers with all their stuff piled up outside.

Luckily there is plenty to do outside the RV park. This would only be a last resort place for me to stay.
