We backed in no more than ten feet from the highway. Cars zooming past day and night. Night fake grass but hookups are so far back the tow vehicle was by the grass. The door of the trailer was facing the big sharp rocks. No dog park and to many stickers in the grassy area to walk the dogs. No restroom No showers No store No office. ... more

Overall Rating

Enjoyed our stay here while visiting Fredericksburg. Customer service was excellent and the site was as expected. Stay farther from the front entrance if road noise is an issue. Sites backing up to the rive have very nice views. We will certainly stay here agian!

Overall Rating

We had a great stay at Arch Ray! Our hostess was very friendly, and the campsites were very clean!
It is in the works to be a very nice campground, once construction and amenities are finished.
This did not affect our trip, though!
We visited Arch Ray’s winery/brewery and had a nice glass outside!
Will visit again!

As the previous review, this place is new and all the amenities (office, showers, pool, laundry) are in various states of complete. That said, don’t let that stop you from staying here.
