We really like this RV park it is very clean and well kept. During the 2 weeks we stayed at the end of December they were constantly working on the facility. Every time someone would leave they would show up and sweep the patio, wipe the table, and rake the gravel. Then when someone was coming into a spot they would come over and double check to make sure everything was in proper order.
It is close to all to the fun things to do in Fredericksburg. There is a large communal patio with a fire pit. On Friday nights while we were there, they had wine tastings and then on Christmas Eve they served hot chocolate around the fire pit. They have two dog parks that are well maintained. They seem to employe lots of work-campers and everyone is very friendly. One of the workers that was always out checking and cleaning the sites always had dog treats with him so our Airedale loved to see him.
Some of the pull thru sites are a little tight and hard to get into, but other than that we love this park and would stay here again they next time we are in the area.

Very clean and well maintained. Pool on-site. I forgot my grill but the fireplace for my site was perfect for grilling as it had a swivel grate. Close to town, level sites, kids loved the putting green and shuffleboard. Highly recommend

We stayed 3 nights and would stay here again. There is a really good Asian Fusion food truck permanently on site with a nice outside dinning area. We had dinner here twice and loved the food!
The park is conveniently located near everything and is easy to get in out out of with your rig.

I’ve lived in Austin for over 30 years so a trip to F-Burg isn’t usually high on my list but the wife and I needed a brief getaway. I first visited F-Burg in the mid-1980’s and it has undergone the addition of a whole lot of restaurants that serve alternatives to schnitzel. We figured it was time for some further culinary exploration. Oakwood is about a 1.5 miles by bicycle to downtown where all the stuff is. Upon returning to our shadeless campsite, we’d dive into the huge pool a mere 40 feet from our the door of our Foot. In exchange for the lack of shade, we had a highly reliable 30amp source for our AC, good tasting water and cable TV. There are many full-time residents there but they were pleasant enough. It was clean and quiet. Only disappointment was the lack of shade and the occasional waft of funk emanating from many loosely attached stinky slinky’s, not uncommon at RV parks. Boondocking it ain’t, but it’ll do.

The RV Park is convenient to Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. Only 2 minutes to Lady Bird Johnson park for golfing, pickle ball and hiking. A great BBQ spot just down the street. Staff were very friendly and provided free ice! We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Have stayed here about 3 or 4 times and I will tell you the two ladies checking you in are very friendly and accommodating. We have come in after hours and they had everything ready for us. The staff here has always been helpful and even allowed me to use one of their ladders for a couple hours to finish a project. The park is all gravel and there are quit a few long term/extended stay RV's in the park. The swimming pool is HUGE and well maintained. They even have a small hot tub area for adults only if you desire. The sites are not the most luxurious I have ever stayed in but they have everything you need and get the job done. They have onsite bathrooms and showers, but I'm not sure about laundry. It is located on the edge of town and there are so many great restaurants very close by. If your looking for over the top luxury then you may be disappointed, but there is no reason I wouldn't recommend this RV park to friends. They are priced fair and they will continue to get my business!!!

Many sites have beautiful trees but getting a big rig backed in is like threading a needle. I think the park is best suited for shorter campers. Cable TV is basic but fine. Wi-fi, umm, not so good. Nice pool and hot tub, live music on weekends. I give only 3 stars because we have a 41’ fifth wheel and we struggled to back into our site. If we had a dmaller rig, I’m sure I’d give it 5 stars.

The attention to detail is what makes this park a cherished destination. Bathhouse: spotless. Site picnic table: freshly refinished, washed clean. Grounds: lovingly landscaped. Located just minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg, Oakwood couldn‘t be more convenient. I‘d give 6-stars if that were an option. ❤️

There are lots of trees in the RV park and it's got a large pool and hot tub. Some of the sites are tricky to maneuver.

Great park! Nice, level spots with artificial grass. A little close to the road, but wasn't bad.
