Someone was at our assigned site, which was odd because park was pretty empty, but we just grabbed another and went on with it. Sites have enough space between, seems like most people were just passing through for a night. Pool seemed to be dug up/unusable and playground not to be found, again just passing through so not the end of the world. Nearby horse farm seemed to bring TONS of black flies, just a heads up.
Bathrooms are covered head-toe in snarky posters about how to properly use the bathroom, but it clearly wasn't cleaned regularly - dirty towels in the bathroom stalls, dirty sinks, empty paper towel dispenser, etc (all seen twice, both upon check-in the evening and then the following afternoon) - so that was kind of ironic.
No reliable wifi to speak of, but we had Starlink so not an issue with us. For the price, no issues and happy to stay again.

Convenient location if you’re traveling I70 and need an overnight. Looks like half the park is full time residents, half for transients. Grass, level sites, the approach road has a few pot holes.

We arrived after 6pm and office closed but our reservation info was clearly left on the board. Campsite is right off 70 and in spite of this it was quiet. The neighbors were friendly enough but overall the site is pretty basic, no obvious amenities. Shower restrooms were old but clean. We slept with windows open for awhile until the cattle stench became too overwhelming. We were looking forward to having coffee in the Cafe in the morning but it was closed even at 8:45. Beware of the stickers everywhere and walk on the gravel road. We might stay here again.

Stayed 1 night.
Pros:
This was a very convenient location. Check-in was easy. Our campsite was switched but it was ok— size was fine, no problems with water, electric, or sewer. Had 2 bars on Verizon. The Mexican restaurant across the road was good.
Cons: sticker weeds everywhere. The site was mowed but burrs were brutal and got stuck in our shoes and dog and tracked into our trailer. In the evening when the sun went down, we opened windows and there was a definite livestock odor. We have stayed at nicer campgrounds for less than the cost

We stayed in the back part of the campground so had a view of cows and fields of grain..lol
Nice and quiet place. Great sunset. Oh and eat at the Mexican restaurant that is right in front of the campground. Great margaritas and food.

We called from the road just before closing. The campground host was very helpful and kind. He told us to follow the instructions on the board near the office door when we arrived and choose any site that was open. Checkin is set up like a state park with an envelope system that includes a map of the campground and all necessary info. Sites are long and spacious and easy to get into. Most have full hookups. We chose one without sewer, so when we left in the morning, we moved over to an open site with a sewer hookup to dump. No shade or fire pits at the sites, but perfect for a short stay when you are on the road! We are marking this one down to use again. Good cell coverage, even for gaming for our son. I forgot to check if it was AT&T or Verizon that we used (we have both).

I arrived in the midst of a blizzard, and was greeted with open arms by the friendly staff. I’d prebooked online, checkin was a breeze, and the fact that they had a cafe serving great food was awesome! Great WiFi, clean warm bathrooms and beautiful views of the high plains made my two night stay perfect!

We stopped here on our way home, and was a nice flat space for an overnight, but pool was close, new owners (as of a week ago) which we were not aware of, Bathrooms were clean but need some attention on maintenance. Nothing is near this but the interstate. Wifi is poor.

We stayed for two nights, both of which we ate at the pub located on site. The food and the stay were both excellent. The owner was very kind and very firm on the rules, which is understandable. We would definitely stay here again. The only complaint we had was there WiFi did not reach our campsite.

Pictures show a nice green park, it’s brown and full of horrible stickers that are terrible for animals. When I asked where the restrooms were, the lady said, ‘what, you don’t have a bathroom in your rig?’ Um, seriously? The restrooms were falling apart and dirty. They had us move sites when we first got there. They came out with their hands up and waving asking us to move because the 6 sites they had open in the back (that were all empty) were all being held Incase motor homes came in. It was 7:30pm on a Thursday. The WiFi doesn’t work. They told us 100 times to go eat dinner in the Pub. We did so, it was a mediocre at best meal that was so overpriced we were baffled. If I order a $34 filet minon, I would anticipate a dinner salad. Nope, it was $4 extra and was wilty lettuce with some tomatoes and a few red onions. They want to be a high scale restaurant but have paper napkins and a run down facility with zero ambiance. The gentleman owner was very friendly, but the woman was abrasive, rude, unaccommodating and extremely cold! Definitely won’t be back!
