Overall Rating

We stayed Sep 6-7th. Wow. Challenge up mountain on dirt road but worth it. The free sites down the road were full...elk season just opened and locals.

No cell data signal. Some voice and text. The smell of pines is fantastic.

It was completely empty when we arrived on a Friday night. No host. Pit toilets spotless and no smell!! Most sites had wood aleady by fire pits. 2 tables per site, nice and level.

Others arrived later that night. We went fishing but it was very windy caught nothing.

Sat, however, we were on fire. Caught 8 trout that morning and 3 that afternoon. Turned cool and started to rain so we pulled out. I highly recommend!!!
