“Not for bigger trailers!! ”

We have a 33’ 5th wheel and got 3/4 of the way to the campground and there were rocks and a boulder in the road. A forest ranger drove by and said the campus closed because of snow (June 21st) and that we probably wouldn’t be able to fit with our rig. It was almost impossible to turn around.

Right on the water! If you don't mind people around, this is a perfect camping spot. It is private enough but people are around fishing and some off-road vehicles come by to look at the lake or picnic. There is a vault toilet and table which is an unusual perk for boondocking. The town of McCall is about 30 minutes away and is a sweet little town with good grocery stores and the biggest servings you can imagine at Ice Cream Alley.
The road turns to gravel maybe 4 miles before camp. It is a little washboard in places but no potholes so about anyone could make it without trouble. There are other camp spots closer in and also more private miles further up the road. Also, there are cows everywhere!! In camp, on the road and by the lake. They do move on but it was funny to have cows around the camper so close.
With Verizon on Weboost, signal was pretty good.
LivingWithTheEssentials would stay here again
